It was a Babcock Christmas, after all...
Apologies for the delayed Christmas post; it apparently got lost in the mail .... We want to thank our mother who housed the entire lot of us - at our apex we totaled 16 - and mom made certain there were plenty of pierogis, nut rolls, and kielbasa for all! Thanks, (Grand)mom/Babba!
For those of you who think John can talk a lot,
you probably haven't yet met his oldest sister, Marion,
who gave George the gift of gab for Christmas.

Barbara provided life coaching lessons to Kirsten;
she plied Kirsten with wine.

It looked like MK pumped George full of egg-nog.
(He thought it was mother's milk.)

The youngest of the Babcocks is also our resident Grinch.
Here's Ronnie stealing George's Christmas gifts.
Too bad the stockings here are three sizes too small, Grinch.
After Uncle Joe described how he rode his Harley,
George demonstrated (and sounded) how he would ride his "hog."

Rock and Roll Will Never Die
All those evenings dancing to "Sister Ray" have resulted in deviant behavior typical for those underage rocker types. Sheez, what a cliche. Though, we appreciate George having learned the appropriate hand signal for his rock-n-roll outfit, courtesy of Alicia. He was singing the blues earlier today, but by evening his teeth were able to break on through to the other side. A warning to all would-be groupies; you won't be able to match the devotion of his two biggest fans.

Sit ups
Kitties, kitties, everywhere,
G loves to make them screech.
Kitties, kitties, everywhere,
not a tail was within reach.

don't monkey around with my heart
there once was a baby on sackett
who's crying made such a big racket
his parents did fret
but he wasn't wet
he just hated his wee monkey jacket

Fancy pants
In honor of v-day, G will be posting "love" poems all week...
Mom's glasses are red,
velvet pants are blue.
I love to make this face
right after I poo.

Strollin with my Gs.
George is the proud owner of a hat collection even more extensive (and more adorable) than his dad's. Here's the latest--handmade with love especially for him. Thanks, Julia!
